❓ FAQ

What does a Korean address format look like?
Since 2014, South Korea adopted the road-name address system (도로명주소), replacing the old lot-number system. Addresses consist of a 5-digit postal code, province/city, district, and road name + building number, written from largest to smallest.
What are the administrative divisions of South Korea?
South Korea has 17 first-level divisions: 1 special city (Seoul), 6 metropolitan cities (Busan, Daegu, Incheon, Gwangju, Daejeon, Ulsan), 1 special autonomous city (Sejong), 8 provinces, and 1 special autonomous province (Jeju). This tool covers all 17 divisions.
Are the generated addresses real?
No. Addresses are randomly generated following real Korean address formats, but the actual addresses may not exist. For testing purposes only.
What is the phone number format?
Korean mobile numbers start with 010, formatted as 010-XXXX-XXXX. Landline format is 0XX-XXXX-XXXX. Seoul's area code is 02, other regions use 3-digit codes (e.g., 051 for Busan, 031 for Gyeonggi).
Can I use it for Korean website registration?
Generated addresses are for testing form validation only. Do not use for actual registration or illegal purposes.
Does it support other countries?
Yes. Links to generators for the USA, Hong Kong, Taiwan, UK, Canada, Australia and more are available at the bottom of the page.
Do the postal codes match the cities?
